Akon has been served with a lawsuit by an Egyptian singer, Tamer Hosny for allegedly failing to appear on the singer’s single he spent so much money producing. According to the new lawsuit filed this week, Rapper Pitbull ditched the song as well thanks to the Konvict star.
The famous Egyptian singer claims, after spending hundreds of thousands to produce the single, Pitbull and Akon, who were supposed to sing along inexplicably, vanished. Hosny says he paid Akon a whopping $300K for both singers to sing on his new hit, Arabian Knight.
According to TMZ, 'Akon delivered the track but according to the lawsuit, in return for the $300K ... Akon and Pitbull were supposed to appear in the "Arabian Knight" music video ... but Pitbull was a no show."

Tamer claims Akon promised to deliver Pitbull for the shoot, so it's his fault and he's on the hook. He adds that it's double the disaster because he had to pay $100K for cameras and crew the day of the shoot - all for nothing.

We are still investigating why was Pitbull not sued but it’s going to be a thug of war if Akon doesn’t return Hosny’s $300,000.
And as they say, Middle Easterners are just the wrong peeps to mess with!

With the lowest ratings ever, the famous Keeping up with the Kardashians  reality TV show could be stopped if nothing is done and fast. Have viewers abandoned the show after it entered its ninth season?
The first family of reality television premiered the ninth season on January 19 but the ratings for the network’s cash cow were significantly down as compared to its previous season, according to RadarOnline.
According to TV By The Numbers, last Sunday’s episode garnered only 2.56 million viewers, down almost half a million from the last season [eight] which pulled in 3.02 million viewers [premiered on June 2, 2013]
Question is: what went wrong? Too much fake drama?
While season eight focused on Kim Karadashian and the news about her pregnancy and relationship with Kanye West, the season nine premiere focused on Kris and Bruce Jenner’s split as well as KhloeKardashian and Lamar Odom’s marriage drama. Is it that fans don’t seem to enjoy the sad part of the Kardashians’ or couldn't believe the Kardashian women could truly leave the men who have stood by them for many years?
Here is what some fans tweeted:
Tome Wes @MUfan17: Real talk, this KUWTK episode is sad. Hate to see Bruce and mom breaking up, but it's for the best. Love my family. #FlatBillKardashian
Christy Walker @LenoirCityMomma: I've been watching #KUWTK and I hate that poor @khloekardashian is going thru a lot of stuff. She's way too Beautiful for this.
What do you guys think? Is it time they take a bow?

Justin Bieber arrested for DUI in Miami

Pop star Justin Bieber has been arrested in connection with Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and drag racing. The police cuffed the 19 year old singer early this morning in Miami Beach after departing from a club.
According to RadarOnline, "the singer was leaving from a club behind the wheel of a rented yellow Lamborghini when police apprehended him at Pine Tree Drive and 26 Street
on suspicion of drag racing. Police said that the singer’s hangers-on had blocked off the intersection to set up a drag strip for the fast-living showman."
The Miami Beach Police Chief, Raymond Martinez disclosed that officers had a tough time apprehending the group as, "when the cars are going that fast, it takes awhile to catch up" but according to NY Daily News, a second car was pulled over directly in front of the Canadian pop star which forced him to stop!
Reports say Bieber was taken into custody at 4:30 am [10:30 am NIG Time] and he flunked a field sobriety test. Police Chief, Martinez also confirmed to press that the singer didn't have a valid driver's license and was suspected to have been under the influence of drugs. Insiders say, the Baby singer unleashed a barrage of F-words when he was detained and also told officers that he had a beer, was under the influence of anti-depressants and had been smoking marijuana all day, according to the Daily News.

Bieber has been taken to Dade County’s main jail where he will be booked.
Have you been trying to make a baby without success?  Have you been trying some sex positions from some sex experts? Are you under pressure from your in-laws, husband, wife friends and society to make a baby with no success?
Well, unlike unclogging the sink or visiting your in laws, baby-making sex is one necessary task that seems like it should be straightforward and fun. But then, out comes the ovulation charts and the pressure to succeed, and then it ends up becoming a minefield of whether or not you're doing the right thing.
But take a seat, relax and try these new sex tricks if you are trying to make a baby.
1. No orgasm? No worries!
Many couples enjoy a great sex life, even though the woman doesn’t necessarily orgasm every time, or even at all, but when it comes to getting pregnant, they wrongly worry this could be the reason it’s not happening. Luckily, according to research, a woman can easily get pregnant without orgasm, although the odds may be slightly better if she does. To achieve this, avoid putting too much pressure on either of you. If you become too obsessed with the end goal, it can lead to performance anxiety and even loss of erection. Remember to enjoy the sex, rather than seeing it a chore!
2. Avoid him performing oral sex during your fertile time
Many couples worry that oral sex could lower fertility or damage sperm or there could be a slight impact with oral sex on fertility. This is because saliva contains digestive enzymes and other agents which can damage the sperm. So does this mean taking a break from oral activities if you’re trying to get pregnant? Not at all. Being engaged and aroused during sex is very important to fertility for both partners. So if oral sex is something you enjoy as a couple, then while trying to make a baby, it may be best to avoid the fertile window.
3. Go with his natural rhythm
If, like many men, he’s at his most aroused first thing in the morning when testosterone levels are typically higher, then that’s a great time for baby sex! Testosterone is the ‘hormone of desire’ and studies show the more testosterone in his body, the more improved the quality of his sperm.
4. If you use lubricants, choose carefully
Couples are embarrassed to admit they use lubricants, and wonder if it affects their chances of conceiving. Some lubricants create conditions which are less favourable for sperm, so make sure it is sperm friendly. Saliva is a lubricant which is best avoided as it can damage sperm. A natural lubricant which won’t alter the acid balance of the vagina is best. There are sperm-friendly lubricants on the market. A recent study has shown that lubricants are commonly used by couples who are trying to conceive and it does not appear to reduce the chances of conceiving.
5. There’s no such thing as too much baby sex
Many women think that too much sex might lower their chances of getting pregnant. It’s commonly thought by women that too much sex might lessen the amount of sperm, or the quality of it but luckily for couples trying for a baby, the opposite is true. Many couples don’t have sex at all after ovulation for two or more weeks, and start sex again when they are close to ovulation. This means that much of the sperm will be dead. It is so important to keep the sperm moving so that it is fresh and healthy when required. Plenty of sex also releases fertility hormones in men and women, so if you’re trying for a family, more is better. Don’t just focus on your ovulation window though; bear in mind sperm survive inside your body for 3-5 days or even longer, so aim to have sex at least three times a week, which will provide a constant flow of sperm inside the fallopian tubes.
6. Forget the bicycle myth
Many women worry about losing precious sperm through ‘flow-back’ – where fluid comes out of the vagina after sex – but it’s completely normal. Women can become anxious that flow-back means the sperm is coming out of them, but only a small part of ejaculation is sperm. The rest flows back out after sex and is perfectly normal – even if there seems to be quite a lot of it. There’s no need to keep your legs in the air after sex – or perform a bicycling motion! The advice is for women to ideally lay flat for 15 minutes after sex which will give the sperm time to swim through the cervical canal - the first leg of their journey to reach the egg.
7. Mind your tubes
Before you get down to the business of baby sex, it’s a good idea for you both to have a routine STI test. Some STIs like Chlamydia can cause blocked fallopian tubes and affect your chances of conception.
8. Sunshine is good for making babies
Studies show women lacking in Vitamin D take longer to get pregnant and a lack of Vitamin D is linked to poorer outcomes with IVF; so try to get as much winter sunshine as you can, when trying for a baby. Once you’re pregnant -and while you are breast-feeding, take a Vitamin D supplement to provide your baby with enough Vitamin D for the first few months of its life. Do a health MOT and look at your weight and lifestyle habits. Remember also, if you are planning a baby, take folic acid, and get your tubes checked.
9. A quickie is just as good as slow sex
Often, men have pent-up anxieties they’re too embarrassed to ask - ‘How long they last, what size they are’ – none of these affects his chances of making a healthy baby. Lots of couples with issues around sex and performance in men do not have to bottle it up.
10. Have plenty of sex as soon as you stop the contraceptive pill
Many women have this idea that they should ‘wait’ a couple of months for the pill to leave their system, but this is a myth and completely unnecessary. In fact, your body may be more fertile in the first two months after you come off the pill, so take the opportunity for lots of baby sex! But be patient - 85 % of couples will conceive within a year of trying if they have regular sex.

2 Years A Slave star,
Lupita Nyong’O is Critics’ Choice Best Supporting actress for 2014. The fast rising star trashed down 2012 Oscars Best Actress Jennifer Lawrence as well as TV mogul Oprah Winfrey to grab the lone award.
It seems the uproar over the recently signed Anti-Gay Law in Nigeria would not die anytime soon with the amount of criticism, condemnation and attack on the person of the President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan by the so called sympathizers of lesbians and homosexuals in Nigeria.
The latest to attack and pour odium on the president is porn actress and producer of the porn movie, Destructive Instinct, Judith Mazagwu, the one who prefers to be called AfroCandy.
The divorced mother of two grown up daughters took the president to the cleaner via her Facebook page.
Read what she said:
“In my opinion the Nigerian President GEJ, (Goodluck Ebele Jonathan), and his government lack focus and should focus more on the most important issues that are major setbacks in the country like providing jobs for the young stars, investing more in education, improving infrastructure, energy, erasing poverty and securing the masses, than focusing on people's privacy.
“I am so surprised he signed the ban on gay rights so quickly but catching the Boko Haram has been so impossible. So if he is so against who (sic) grown adults have chosen to f**k, why does he allow his ministers to marry under aged children?
“Or that is less important than who grown adults have chosen to bed? No man has the rights to judge people on their sexual orientations.
“I am not against whoever anyone choses to sleep with or marry; let them be whatever they chose, f**k whoever they want and let's leave judgment to Almighty God.
“Live and lets live is the way it should be, Mr. President!
“I don talk my own o!”

A report which was anonymously sent to media outlets, claimed that the rapper, had impregnated Rita Edmond, with whom he has been romantically involved with. Phyno denied.

Indigenous Nigerian rapper, Phyno, has refuted reports which alleged that he was expecting a child from a female singer.
The report which was anonymously sent to media outlets, claimed that the rapper, had impregnated Rita Edmond, with whom he has been romantically involved with. The report also stated that Rita plans to carry out an abortion, much to the disapproval of Phyno, who sent her holidaying in Dubai for Christmas.
Speaking with Punch, Phyno however denied the existence of the alleged foetus, stating clearly that he has never had an acquaintance with Rita Edmond.
"Believe it or not, I’ve never met or spoken to anyone by that name. I haven’t made any woman pregnant either. If people need three seconds of fame I’m glad that my name could help". he says.
Singer Rita Edmond didn’t share in the denial though, as she spoke in cryptic tones when contacted over the report. She admits to dating an unnamed rapper, but stopped short of confirming her alleged pregnancy.
"The only information I can give you is that I am in love with a rap artiste. I don’t want to mention his name. Since different stories are flying around, I am trying to understand where everybody got their story from. "Of course, I had a vacation in Dubai and I am back in Nigeria". She told Punch.
Popular belief has it though, that the report holds some water, and with Rita’s reply leaving much unanswered, the story has festered and grown.
What do you think? Is Phyno lying? Or is Rita Edmond truly pregnant? Share your views.
The entertainment mogul knows how to stage a come-back for sure!
As with a break up, the best revenge is to look a million dollars and Oprah Winfrey certainly brought her fashion power to the 19 Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards on Thursday.
Nigerian rapper, Eva Alordiah, is widely considered the best female lyricist in the country, and new evidence seem to reinforce that. The rapper has released a new freestyle session where she went on a roll with words, revealing encrypted truths.

More than 2.4 million volunteers vaccinate some 170 million children in India during every immunisation round
India is marking three years since its last reported polio case, a landmark in the global battle against the disease.
It is seen as confirmation of one of India's biggest public health successes, achieved through a massive and sustained immunisation programme.
India's health minister hailed it as a "monumental milestone".
In 2012 the World Health Organisation removed India from the list of polio-endemic countries. Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nigeria remain on it.
The list refers to countries in which the virus is circulating freely and the transmission of the infectious disease has not been stopped.
Despite India's success, health experts fear a resurgence of polio in other parts of the world.
Last case "This monumental milestone was possible due to unwavering political will at the highest level, commitment of adequate financial resources, technological innovation ... and the tireless efforts of millions of workers including more than 23 lakh (2.3 million) vaccinators," Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad told reporters.
The WHO is expected to formally certify India's polio-free status next month after testing its last samples.

"India has now set other important public health goals as a result of the confidence that the country has got from the successful eradication of polio," Nicole Deutsch, head of polio operations for the UN children's charity Unicef in India, told the AFP news agency, citing a new measles eradication goal.
Only one case of polio was recorded in 2011, down from 741 in 2009. It came from the eastern state of West Bengal in 2011 when an 18-month-old girl was found to have contracted the disease.
Rukshar Khatoon is now going to school and leads a "normal life" although she still suffers pain in her right leg, her doctors and parents told AFP.
"She can now stand on her feet and walk, but can't run. When her friends play, she remains a spectator," her father Abdul Shah said.

Polio's last stand? 2012 cases

  • Nigeria - 97
  • Pakistan - 47
  • Afghanistan - 26
  • Chad - 5*
Source: IMB
* Polio is considered "non-endemic" in Chad
Mr Shah said it had been a "grave mistake" only to get his son vaccinated for polio, but not his two daughters.
After the eradication of smallpox in 1980, polio is the second disease in India that has been eliminated through immunisation.
Nearly 2.3 million volunteers vaccinate some 170 million children under five years of age in India during every round of immunisation.
Polio is capable of causing crippling disability or death within hours. It plagued societies in ancient times - and was present in more than 100 countries even in the 1980s, when it left 350,000 people paralysed each year.
Despite a quarter-century-long vaccination programme, experts fear it could make a comeback in countries riven by conflict.
Outbreaks in Syria and Somalia, where vaccination programmes have been disrupted, could hamper efforts to rid the world of the disease,
Polio immunisation efforts have been suspended in parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan because of attacks by militants who see the campaign as a Western plot.
BBC correspondents say unless immunisation is re-started promptly, polio could infect more children, with a risk it could spread beyond Pakistan's borders to India.
Poliomyelitis has existed as long as human society, but became a major public health issue in late Victorian times with major epidemics in Europe and the United States. The disease, which causes spinal and respiratory paralysis, can kill and remains incurable but vaccines have assisted in its almost total eradication today.

From a carmaker that not long ago would not deign to discuss such greasy matters as engine output comes the new Ghost V-Specification, a model that neatly fills the performance gap between the very swift standard Ghost and the downright blistering Wraith coupe. The package includes a host of aesthetic enhancements and a horsepower boost to the car’s 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 engine. Output jumps from 563 to 593hp. That is still shy of the mighty Wraith’s 624hp, but sufficient to move this top-spec Ghost from zero to 60mph in 4.7 seconds – a tenth quicker than the standard car. The Ghost V-Specification – in standard- and extended-wheelbase versions – is available for customer commission through June. Pricing will be announced at a later date.  AC Milan have sacked coach Massimiliano Allegri, a day after a 4-3 league defeat by minnows Sassuolo

The 18-time Italian champions are 11th in Serie A, 30 points behind leaders Juventus.
Allegri, 46, who was due to leave the San Siro when his contract expired at the end of the season, departs along with his backroom team.
Assistant coach Mauro Tassotti, a former Milan player, has been put in temporary charge of the side.
A club statement read: "Massimiliano Allegri and his staff have been relieved of their duties.

Allegri fact-file

  • Born: 11 August 1967
  • Playing career: As a journeyman midfielder, played for 11 different Italian clubs in various divisions
  • Coaching career: Won the Serie A title with Milan after impressing with lesser lights Cagliari
"AC Milan would like to thank Mr Allegri and his staff for their time with the club and wishes them the best for the future."
Former Cagliari boss Allegri led Milan to the Serie A title  in his first season in charge after replacing Leonardo in June 2010.
They finished as runners-up to Juventus the following year but ended last season 15 points behind Juventus, who won the title again.
Following Sunday's defeat to Serie A newcomers Sassuolo, club director Barbara Berlusconi - the daughter of owner Silvio Berlusconi - said it was "a disappointing evening, like others, which confirms that a change is both necessary and urgent with the contribution of everyone concerned.
"It's no longer tolerable that our fans participate in performances like these."
Tassotti, 53, spent 17 years as a player at the San Siro and has been on the coaching staff since he retired from playing in 1997.

The Hunger Games films have made Jennifer Lawrence a major box office draw
With takings of almost $414 million (£252m), the second film in the Hunger Games series has passed Iron Man 3 to become the most successful 2013 release at the US and Canadian box office.
According to online movie tracker
Box Office Mojo, the film has now taken almost $4m (£2.4m) more than Robert Downey Jr's Marvel superhero sequel.
Iron Man 3 remains 2013's biggest draw worldwide, making $1.2bn (£734m).
It was also 2013's biggest earner at the end of last year.
Since then, however, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire has continued to pull in the punters and is now the most profitable film to be released in North America in 2013.
Not since 1968, when Funny Girl was the year's top earner, has a female-led film topped the chart.
Lawrence, who won a Golden Globe on Sunday for American Hustle, plays heroic teenager Katniss Everdeen in the Hunger Games films, based on Suzanne Collins' dystopian sci-fi novels.
The first film in the series, released in 2012, made $408m (£248m). The final part of the story, Mockingjay, has been split into two films that will be released in 2014 and 2015 respectively.
When Catching Fire was released in the UK in November, it topped the box office chart with takings of £12m in its opening weekend.
It has since made almost $847m (£515m) worldwide.
The film was nominated for one Golden Globe at the weekend, for the song Atlas by Coldplay
But the track lost out to U2's Ordinary Love, featured in the biopic Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
President Barack Obama's "team of rivals" first-term cabinet has come back to haunt him, following surprisingly blunt critiques of his leadership and top aides by ex-Pentagon boss Robert Gates.
Gates, the Washington Republican lifer who served six presidents in senior national security jobs, sent political shockwaves through Washington after his unsparing assessments of the Obama administration in his new book, leaked to top newspapers.
Tell-all memoirs by former administration officials looking to gild their retirement nest eggs and bolster their own legacies are nothing new -- and uniformly infuriate presidents and top subordinates whichever party runs the White House.
But the Gates bombshell was so remarkable because of the pedigree of the former defense secretary and CIA chief, his long experience as a confidant of presidents, and his reputation for unruffled integrity and discretion.
So it is more difficult for the White House to write off the book -- "Duty: Memoirs of a Secretary of War" -- due to be published on January 14, as a typical episode of Washington score settling.
It may be that privately, despite taking the high ground in public, White House officials are second-guessing the president's decision to ask Gates, a Republican holdover from the George W. Bush administration, to stay on as defense secretary in his first cabinet.
Given the deep respect Obama appears to have for Gates, and a belief that they were on the same page strategically on many issues, the revelations may be personally hurtful to the president.
In the most damaging revelations, Gates suggests Obama soured on his own troop surge strategy in Afghanistan and lost confidence in General David Petraeus and other military brass he picked to lead it.
Gates also slams White House aides for obsessive attempts to control all US national security and foreign policy to the detriment of the State Department and the Pentagon, and excerpts from his book reek of a deep distaste for Washington and its political games.
In comments which could reverberate in the 2016 presidential campaign, he says Hillary Clinton told Obama that she only opposed a troop surge strategy in Iraq for political reasons during the heat of their primary battle.
He also blasted Vice President Joe Biden as "wrong on nearly every major foreign policy and national security issue" of the last four decades.
The political gang that Gates so disdained was out in the president's defense on Wednesday.
"He always indicated he had a good working relationship with the president," David Axelrod, a former top Obama aide who remains close to the president, told NBC.
Axelrod also argued that the Afghan war strategy -- for which Gates was partly responsible -- was "a mess" when Obama took office in 2009.
Former White House chief of staff Bill Daley said on CBS that Gates's memoir was "rather unfortunate," adding that it was a "disservice" to publish such a book while the administration was still fighting the Afghan war.
Many of Gates's critiques are not new in themselves -- and have been floating around the Obama White House for years.
But Gates' stature gives them extra currency and they are likely to linger in the political discourse in Washington for years, and in the histories that will shape Obama's legacy after he leaves office.
While Gates said plenty of positive things about Obama -- calling him a man of "integrity" and praising him for gutsy decision to order a raid to kill Osama bin Laden -- and Clinton -- who he sees as smart, and a great ambassador for America abroad -- it is the criticisms that will likely be remembered.
His narrative also appears to reflect typical fighting over turf between the White House and Pentagon -- as Obama aides sought to wrestle back what they saw as executive authority appropriated by the military during the Bush administration.
The furor over Gates will be an unwelcome distraction for the White House as it sets about trying to rebuild Obama's personal brand after a brutal year.
It will also offer ammunition against Obama's foreign policy record, once seen as an area of strength that has come under fire as a sectarian war rages across the Middle East and Iraq descends into civil war two years after he pulled the last US soldiers from the country.
The White House offered a detailed rebuttal to the Gates excerpts Tuesday, but took the moral high ground, wishing him well after an accident that has left him in a neck collar.
National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said Obama views Biden as one of the "leading statesmen" of his time and said the president was firmly committed to the Afghan strategy.

The song, which was released in late November, has been play-listed at a number of stations. It features 14-year-old Kimberly Rose on vocals accompanied by The Plastics, who wrote and produced the song.
Talking about the song band member Pascal Righini recalled the poignant experience of recording with the dying girl.
“Kim said that she liked Ellie Golding and pop music,” Righini told Tonight. “Based on that we went away and did some preproduction.
“We didn’t want the song to sound like a Plastics song because we didn’t want to be opportunistic,” he revealed before going on to talk about the actual studio experience.
“It really became more and more real when we went into the studio. She was really sick at that stage and was taking morphine like water.
“It was amazing watching her do the song. She was having difficulty walking and was barely able to speak. She was not able to leave her wheelchair.
“However she managed to hit every high note required in the song. It was amazing to hear how strong and confident she was.”
Shortly after recording her vocals Kim went to South Korea for treatment. “She never came back,” said Righini.
“She died in South Korea before the final mix of the song. Since then the family have been coping with it all.”
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on Friday gave details of the contentious $10,8 billion crude oil fund, saying the money was not missing.
The amount is part of the $49,8 billion alleged to have been unremitted to the Federation Account by the NNPC.
Mr Bernad Otti, the Group Executive Director, Finance and Accounts Directorate of NNPC, at a press briefing in Abuja declared that the $10,8 billion, which is currently the subject of ongoing inter-agency reconciliation exercise is not missing.
"The sum in question has been expenditures incurred as part of statutory responsibilities, which the NNPC, as the national oil company, executes on behalf of the federal government," he said.
He explained that issues surrounding the alleged unremitted $49,8 billion were clarified at a joint press conference by NNPC, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Petroleum Resources in December 2013.
"There was nowhere it was admitted by any of the parties in the course of the press conference that the sum of $10,8 billion out of the alleged unremitted $49,8billion is missing," he said.
He said that $30 billion out of the alleged unremitted oil revenue had been reconciled by all the parties involved, adding that the yet-to-be-reconciled $10,8 billion could be located in the expenses on some of the corporation’s responsibilities.
Otti said that the responsibilities were those NNPC usually carried out on behalf of the federal government with respect to domestic crude oil utilisation.
According to him, the expenditure and responsibilities included the sum of $8,49 billion of unpaid subsidies on kerosene and Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) and $1,22 billion for pipeline management and repair.
"Others are $370 million, the cost of holding strategic stock reserve for petroleum products and $70 million, which accounts for products and crude oil loses," he added.
He explained that the associated costs of stolen and spilled products and crude oil, repairs and maintenance, and downtime of the refineries constituted a significant part of the yet-to-be-reconciled figure.
"The corporation is left to bear these responsibilities on behalf of the federal government. The cost incurred in this mandate is part of the 10.8 billion dollars yet to be reconciled outstanding figure," he stated.
The director said that all the parties involved in the reconciliation process were aware of the "facts", adding that the figures were being thoroughly scrutinised.
"It is therefore incorrect for anyone to continue to misinform the public that the sum of $10,8 billion of oil revenue is missing," he said.
He claimed that the services being rendered by NNPC were critical to the development of the national economy "which no corporation will perform without being paid up-front by the government."
